Jean telephone my mother every week without fail during her illness. She had her own medical issues at the time, but her focus was on my mother and providing love and support for her. For that I am so grateful. She was a true friend.

We were so sorry that we could not be at Jean's service; no doubt her presence was felt through the stories, music and laughter that you all shared in her tributes.
Our sympathy to you all. Jean was a wonderful lady and will be greatly missed.
Our mothers had a special bond and I am sure a lot of that was because they both loved to laugh and have a good time.
I was fortunate to be able to go on road trips with Mom and Jean a few times and after Mom died Jean and I continued to get together especially on Mom's birthday. Jean had such a positive, young attitude that it was a delight to spend time with her. I will miss that twinkle in her eye and wonderful laugh.
All of you in Jean's family are a remarkable legacy to her memory.Enjoy your memories of her and your family connection. She was so proud of each and everyone of you.
Hugs to you all,
Love Doug and Lynne Carvey

Darryl, Derryk, and Jan and families. I will be thinking of you all tomorrow and Dad said to say he's sorry he can't be there tomorrow. Your mom always knew how to enjoy life. I remember how much she loved seeing so many people at the Margaret Homecoming a few years ago. Your mom and dad were great neighbors to our family.

Thinking of you and remembering your Mom . It seemed Jean always had a kind word and that beautiful smiling face whenever I saw her. Our parents, Earl & Doreen Noble, enjoyed the company of your parents at many community events throughout the years. Many good times and laughter was shared at those old time dances. Margaret McIntosh (nee Grant) and Jean were the best of friends in high school and from then on. Mom would bike out and meet Jean half way from the Sellers' farm for a picnic in the ditch. Pop Grant, as Jean would come to call my Grandfather, invited Jean in every Wednesday night for supper. Jean's constant company helped my Mother through the death of her Mother at the age of 15.
My Mother's memory faded in the last 20 years, but she always knew Jean to see her and to recall the good old days spent with her.
It was always a pleasure to visit with Jean through my job of Home Care and in the last year at the Personal Care Home. She was a vibrant and full of life type of being.
We will miss her!
My condolences to Darryl, Derrick, Jan and their families.
