Our sincere condolences to the family. Alma has been our neighbor for almost 10 years. What a great neighbor, she was, She rescued me on a few occasions! Always had time to stop and chat while working in her yard or over a cup of tea. She loved her walks, her flowers and volunteering. Her lovely presence will be missed.
Sincerely Dan and Wendy Pope

Alma was a special lady who provided the support needed when I was a new mother and lots of laughs in the following years as we climbed apple trees and shared a love of dogs. She was the friend that you could just catch up with right away even if you hadn't connected for months. She will be missed.

We have known each other and were friends since the 1980's. We renewed our friendship when be were both enrolled as seniors learning to become computer literate. It was a pleasure to be in her presence again, such a warm and friendly lady. My condolences to her loving family.
Sincerely Amy Knight

I will always remember Aunt Alma for her wise advice and counsel, and especially her fantastic ability to analyze a situation to get at the real facts of any challenge, and positively move forward from it in both a caring and sympathetic way. Visits with Aunt Alma and her family provided many treasured memories for me throughout the years (I especially remember the great adventure of exploring my hometown of Moose Jaw with her sons when they came to visit approximately 1970.) I wish to extend my deepest sympathy to both her family and friends on her passing, and wish to express my regrets for being unable to attend her remembrance on Friday in Brandon. I will, however, be thinking of her at that time.
With sympathy,
Doug McCurdy (Nephew)

Alma was my neighbor for 15 years today. She welcomed us to the area with a pie and some tomatoes. She was always glad to have a chat and share a laugh. Alma watched my kids grow and loved talking to them after school to see how the day went. She will be missed very much!!
