I am saddened deeply at the loss of such an amazing lady. I'll never forget the day we met. First day of English class at BCI. The day I shot her in the head with an elastic that flew off my finger...and yes it was by accident. She never said a word and just carried on.
When Marilyn and I became friends and she took me home with her one day, I was afraid that Ruth would bring that up, she did of course. We both had a good laugh about it and I like to think that she actually grew kind of fond of me. I know I was very fond of her and will miss her very much.
So very sorry for your loss Don, Marilyn, Craig, Sean and Hudson. Hugs...

Sorry to hear of Ruth's passing. Always enjoyed our visits at Ditch Lake when my sister, Marg Wyborn from Calgary visited. Ruth had such a great knowledge of the family tree. Deepest Sympathy.

Marilyn/Don, I am very sorry to hear about your loss. Your mom was one of a kind.
She always welcomed us with open arms, and I really enjoyed talking to her, every time we visited. The family reunion at the cabin, was one of the many good times I will always remember.
She will be missed. My sincere condolences to you and your family.
Best Regards,
John Nelson
