Dell and family,
We, along with our kids were sorry to hear of Jim's passing. We enjoyed being Clear Lake neighbours, his quick wit and dry sense of humour. Dave and Jolene Patterson

Dell , we are thinking of you and your family especially this Christmas Day. May you all still have peace and joy in the memories of your loved one. Seeing the underground hard hat brought back may great memories of Thompson and all the great people that live(d) there. I think all the underground men were one big "family",
Special thoughts to you all

Our family will always be grateful for Jims sence of humour and his huge heart that he loved to conceal but would always show itself when you were in need. We will never forget how he opened his home to us after our house burnt in Thompson on Boxing Day. How he helped move me back from Ontario during hard times and how as a newly wed he gave us room & board when we were just starting out in life. Jim was a big tease, and a great brother that I grew to understand and love more & more the older I got. I will always miss you Jimmy. Love Nancy, Pat & family

Dad you will be missed so much! I know my tears will wash away my pain in time. Knowing that your cranky looking at us getting mushy over your leaving is just another piece of why I love you! Until we argue again daddy! Love you so much Theresa and Elijah

I taught at Elmwood and Jim took care of us. I must share the big favour he did for my family by transferring my Grandpa’s history from A VERY OLD fashion tape to CD BEFORE ANYONE KNEW HOW! But HE DID IT! Wonderful work Jim. The old Tape was almost starting to degrade. Jim, my family thanks you. I had to give YOU credit on the CD.
I am always indebted to you. Miss you much Big Man.
