My deepest sympathies to all.
Margaret, (then Taylor) was my teacher when she taught at Blair school in the country. I believe I was in grade 7 and the year was 1946.
She boarded with Mr. and Mrs Tom Hayward. I used to fire the furnace during the winter at the school, so when the teacher and other pupils arrived , the building would be reasonably warmer.
Years later, when a cairn was placed at the former Blair school site, we met again, and I occasionally called on the phone, when she resided at Riverheights Terrace.
I have fond memories of my teacher,Margaret Taylor.
