We're so sorry that we could not attend the service. She will always be remembered for her constant smile and how she made you feel that she was happy to see you. She had a quiet dignity and a gentle humour that made you feel good to be with her. She was such a sweet person. Our condolences go out to the family.

I always appreciated Mabel for her quiet spirit. She was so hospitable. We were a group of up to eight cousins who met for dinner several times throughout the year. I was a
always impressed when Mabel would come to Winnipeg from Brandon for these "get togethers". Sadly, most of this group have gone on before us. May you as a family cherish the many memories you have of your dear Mother and Grandmother
With deepest sympathy, Cousin, Arlene (Johnson) Loewen

We met Mabel when she was in the Assiniboine Hosp. where she shared a room with our Mother, Margaret Tribe. As fate would allow, they both were moved to the Fairview Care Home and shared a room there also. We all found her to be a lovely, quiet lady, and was really a big help to Mom and they were fondly known around the home as "The Bobbsey Twins" because they always did things together and really enjoyed each other's company.
Sad to say, our Mom really misses her and is very lonely since Mabel's passing. We all miss Mabel very much, and our sincerest condolences to all the family from Hugh and Betty Tribe, (Margarets' son) and Lee-Ann and Jack Bullee, (Margaret's) daughter.

Mabel was such a sweetheart! She and Mom lived in three different residences and Mabel always had this lovely smile on her face. She was happy to have a little chat.
I used to call her Mrs. McDougald and she always said "Mabel please" ... that was hard for me to do, but since it was her wish I did it. She will be missed!
My condolences to all the family and I hope that happy memories sustain you.

I remember Mabel as a very gentle woman with an amazing smile. Mabel driving along number 10 highway at a snails pace gong to and from Brandon always made me laugh. Family was very special to her and she will be missed by all . Treasure your memories as I know you have many. Thinking of you . Allan and Bev Haverstock
