I just want to give my condolences to Pete, Dawn and Kim and families. I have great memories of Gail while working for the Chamber of Commerce. I enjoyed working with her as a director and as president. She had a long battle but whenever I saw her she always had a smile. My heart goes out to you and your families.
Take Care!

Dear Peter, Dawn , Kim and families,
It is a great loss in losing Gail, she was such a special person.
She was a true and loyal friend and I will miss her dearly, even though we didn't get to see each other often she was always in my thoughts. Gail fought hard and long to beat this cancer with the love and support of her family by her side. She was so happy to be in Brandon by her girls.
Peter, Dawn and Kim you are all in my thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time of loss. I would like to think now that your wife and Mom is finally resting without the pain anymore. Heaven is a much brighter place with your mom being there now.
Love, Rick & Lorie

John and I would like to say how sorry we were to hear of Gail's passing. I first met her at our daughter's nursery school when they were just 3 years old and we connected right away. Then we served on the Board of Trustees for the Swan Valley School Division together and she was such a support to me in that role. She was never grouchy, not even with her cancer making her feel sick. Sympathy and support to Peter, Dawn and Kim and their families as losing your mom and wife is such a huge loss. She'll still be with you, just on the other side of the veil. Conicidentally, (or not), I was sitting on my deck a few days ago and she came to my mind and I wondered how she was doing and what a marvel she was. Maybe she was saying good bye in her own way. Who knows?

My thoughts and prayers are with Peter, Dawn and family, Kim and family during this very difficult time. Gail was a fighter right to the end; she fought this battle with grace and an inner peace that was remarkable. Always thinking of others even when she was having a bad day. She was an angel on earth and I know there is a special place for her in heaven. Hugs from Rosemarie

Dawn, Kim and families, we are so sorry to hear of your mothers passing. I only met her once, but through friends I know how hard she fought over the last few years. How grateful she must have been to have spent time with her grandchildren. Take comfort in knowing her pain has now ended.

Our little walking group will greatly miss Gail. The courage and strength she showed in the last few years was an inspiration to us all. She was always upbeat, cheery and looking fabulous even on her worst days, more interested in others than in fretting her own issues.
Gail was an active member of Waves of Hope when she was able, including co-chairing the annual fashion show. Although the attached photo does not show Gail well, she was working hard in the second last seat.
Waves of Hope was in a festival in Portage on July 1. We dedicated our races to Gail and our thoughts focused on memories of her during the flower ceremony.
Hugs to her treasured family!
