Dear Marci, Greg and Lindsay,
I can't begin to tell you the shock and immense sadness I felt when I read in the newspaper that Vince had passed away. I know all too well the sorrow and loss you are feeling. I was blessed with the friendship of both Marci and Vince before and after they were married, and have so many wonderful memories - most of them filled with laughter! It's been many many years since we've seen each other or gotten together but our friendship will always remain.
Marci - I thought of buying a Slurpee and drinking it to have a brain freeze in memory of Vince - like he had at the picnic the four of us attended so many years ago!
I can't believe both of our husbands passed away so young, and are now both in heaven together. I'm sure they're having some laughs up there, and till we all meet again........

Marci, we are so so sorry to hear this terrible news, its been a long time since we have seen each other, we have so many cherished memories of you guys, such a beautiful couple, Vince had such a warm and welcoming personality, and you so beautiful and caring, we had many many laughs together, mostly you wanting to put me in a cage and make some extra money hahahaha, Vince always dieting he had the strangest diets KFC etc...lol, remember one night we ordered fish and chips from our famous fish and chips store (Ches's) and you guys thought it was too fishy, we laughed and laughed, you gave us 2 paintings one time because Max was the signature on them you thought I should have them, they still hang in our kitchen some 30 years later, there are so many funny stories even thinking back at them now puts a smile on my face, God most have needed a very special man to take Vince so soon, our deepest condolences Marci to you and your family, so so sad ,RIP dear Vince

We have so many wonderful cherished memories of Vince and Marci as our neighbours on Ashford Drive, Mount Pearl, NL.
This one stands out. Vince's diet consisted of KFC almost every night. One year for Vince's Birthday, Gerry had a live chicken delivered to his house in an enclosed box. As Vince was carrying the box downstairs it moved and he said Marci it's moving. As he cautiously removed the cover it started to cock a doodle do.
Marci rationed his KFC after that.It was a fun evening.We have so many more memories from swimming at the Aquarena, to camping in the Motorhome,to holidays in Florida, to watching the Bluejays play baseball in Toronto, and drinking Vince's coffee which kept us up half the night.
He loved his family and friend and they loved him.A kind,caring gentle man, he will be missed but not forgotten.

here is one of my memories when we were small we we climbed on a tractor that was fixing a street we climbed on the tractor and started driving it and ran over the person's lunch box he climbs on the tractor and stopped it then of course he took us home where we got heck and spanking then our parents had to pay for the damage we were in big doo doo but you're in a better place now no more suffering all our love vince and lise mantia and family our deepest sympathy to Marcy and family
