Darlene volunteered with me at Street Love on 10th St. She always dressed up and showed off the new items her sister Amy had given her. She loved helping out with the clothing but just as much sitting having coffee with whoever came in. She had a hello, smile and hug for everyone. You will be missed Darlene, but God has another Angel in Heaven. RIP

I met Darlene at a downtown Christian Ministry called Street Love several years ago . Darlene would come in and visit with the staff and would volunteer to help in the kitchen at times. This was a ministry of helping people find free clothes and to let them know they could have a coffee, with lots of goodies. I remember Darlene was very excited that she could be a volunteer there. I sat at the table with her and listened as she shared many of her interesting stories with me... she always smiled and had a joy about her that was contagious and I will surly miss her. She was loved by many wherever she went! Missing you Darlene, R.I.P. your friend Lorraine Vickery xo
