Obituary of Daisy Asham

ASHAM: Daisy (Sanderson) of Brandon, MB, passed away peacefully with family at her side November 27, 2014 at the age of 93. Daisy was born in Winnipegosis, MB on February 10, 1921. She married the love of her life, Edward on October 14, 1944. Daisy's passions included spending time with all of her family and friends, playing bingo and knitting. Daisy is survived by Ted (Joy), Dot (Paul) Gross, Dan (Bev), son-in-law Brian Macaig, sister Mae Neufeld, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and numerous extended family members. Predeceased by her husband Ed, her parents, siblings, daughters Gayle and Dawn, son Darryl and granddaughter Maureen. Her Celebration of Life will be held at St. George's Anglican Church, 5th Street & Southern Avenue, on Monday, December 1, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Donations may be made in Daisy's memory to Cystic Fibrosis Canada, 2323 Yonge Street, Suite 800, Toronto, Ontario, M4P 2C9, Hillcrest Place Personal Care Home, 930-26th Street, Brandon, MB, R7B 2B8, or to a charity of choice.
