Obituary of John Horace (Jack) Treloar

TRELOAR: John Horace (Jack) Treloar passed away peacefully at Fairview Home, on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at the age of 89 years. Jack was born on July 4, 1924 in Brandon, MB. He lived in the Rivers area most of his life, farming for 53 years and later moving into the town of Rivers. He was predeceased by his father Sydney Treloar in 1958, his mother Mary Treloar in 1982, his brother Gordon in 1972, and his sister Beatrice in 2001. Jack was a councillor for the R.M. of Daly for 15 years and a member of the Rivers Legion, Branch 75. Funeral Service will be held at the Rivers United Church on Friday, May 23, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Glenna Beauchamp officiating. Interment will follow at the Rivers Cemetery. Donations in memory of Jack may be made to a charity of one's choice.
