Our deepest sympathy to the family of Chuck Dixon. Chuck became our neighbor& friend
about 20 years ago when he bought the farm from Al`s sister & he remained a good friend
to the end. Our grandkids thought "Chuckie Bear" was great. The girls played cards with him& Bailey enjoyed learning about hunting from him.We can`t believe he went so fast !
He will be missed by all of us. I`m sure if there`s hunting where he is he`ll be happy or he`ll be feeding the birds & deer. Rest well our friend!!
Your friends & neighbors Allan & Wynne Daw & family

My best memories of Chuck were at the cottage at Clearwater Bay. As a kid, Chuck always made me laugh. Singing along with the tunes on the radio and striking up a rousing game of Hearts! Great memories that will live forever!

To Chuck's family; So sorry for your loss.
I have so many memories, growing up in the outdoors, and most often, Chuck was the instigator of the event. Some of the early father/son fishing trips to Bissett, Cabin Lake, or fly in to Echo lake. The Goose hunts north of Winnipeg, the deer hunting trips to McAuley and later at the farm. The farm, how Chuck loved the farm. He made most of the limited habitat, and always putting the deer first. I remmember many winters, on Chuck's insistance, setting up deer feeders in the middle of winter, to to ensure a healthy heard for the next season.
Chuck was an environmentalist, in a good way. He respected wildlife and understood the interaction and implications of man on the environment, especially wildlife.
Chuck's humor, and passion for the outdoors will be sadly missed.

Sorry to hear of the loss of "Chuck", and I will always be grateful for the times we shared hunting, visiting, and working with wildlife. And from all over Manitoba including Alabama and Texas we traveled, hunted and shared many good laughs. His knowledge of the outdoors with his personal slant to various situations will be missed.
My Daughter always called him "Grandpa Chuck" and my sons enjoyed his visits as well as hunts in Boissevain.
My condolences to the family, and thank you for the gifts of time Chuck shared with my family.

Deepest sympathy to Chuck's family. He was a good hunting partner and always fun at the hunting shack at McAuley. We always enjoyed his company on the casino bus. We will miss him.
