Well, where do I start, I will start by saying how much I will miss Floyd, that smile that face that just made you want to smile all day and forget your troubles. Floyd loved sitting inside the front entrance of Fairview just watching people walk in and out, but sometimes he would take a little power nap, lol, everytime he saw me coming to the dining room and start my shift he would always wave at me and of course I had to go over and say hi where in turn he would grab my hand and give me one of his famous handshakes, and then rub the top of my hand. I lost my father six years ago and I think Floyd kind of filled that empty spot I had. Tannis it will be strange not seeing you anymore, but maybe we will come across each other in town sometime. My deepest and heart felt condolences to you and your family. May you Rest in Peace Floyd Nelson.
