I have so many fond memories of our summer neighbors, the Weirs. Tommie was always quick to bring out the snacks and activities to keep us entertained. How she put up with all of us pounding on Cam's drums, I will never understand! She was especially gracious to Dale and me, hosting two small town boys in Mississaugua, opening our eyes to the big wide world. I will always be grateful for the opportunity. She was a good friend to the family and will be missed. My condolences to Leslie, John, Pat, Cam and their families.

To the Weir Family. .We are so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I read her obituary in the paper on Saturday and it brought back a flood of memories. Tommie was the only person I knew that could call my mother "Sal" and get away with it. My personal favorite Tommie story was the time she was driving home down main street in Minnedosa with a flat tire and later said she thought everyone was happy and in a good mood that day as they were waving and shouting to her. I also remember Mike the bulldog and how he would lay in the living room and pass gas.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you . Best personal regards, Bill and Peggy Wilton

Tommie and Walter were a cherished part of my childhood. I always enjoyed the times when they would visit us at the farm, sitting around the table and sharing stories. Tommie always made me feel important and brought me unusual bottles to use in my playhouse. Your parents were good people who genuinely cared about their community and the people in it. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. Gwen (Ferguson) McCaskill
