Wherever you are, Tommie, I hope you are having a great time with all the members of the Turtle Club. It's not going to be the same visiting in Minnedosa without stopping to visit with you and partake of all the treats you always had on hand.
Life was never dull with Tommie around. I think of her every time I dust. She said it was alright to sign your name in the dust as long as you didn't write the date. When we left Minnedosa and were moving the TV, there was her name in the dust. Another thing I remember was never to trust a recipe you got from her. She and her friend, Carole, had a tradition when exchanging recipes - always leave one ingredient out leaving recipe recipients scratching their heads when the product didn't turn out as it should.
