Jim, the news of your mother's death saddens me. I got the impression that she was decent and considerate, and an anchor for your family.

To the Selbie and Eamer families, it was with sadness to have learned of Edna's recent passing. I first met her in the early 1980s. Edna was always a woman of grace, kindness, and enormous patience. Her friendly demeanor made you feel welcome whenever she was present. Although I lost touch with Edna many years ago, she always had a special place in my heart. May your many memories bring you comfort. I hope it helps somewhat to know that others are keeping you all close in thought at this time. ~ Kindest personal regards, Donna

My Tribute to Edna
Hi, my name is Brenda EamerAshKevill. I am the youngest daughter of Reg and have been in Saskatchewan since 1979...I would like to share a few memories of how Edna has influenced and affected a strong positive experience throughout my family. One of my dearest memories was when Dad and Edna came to Regina...the summer proceeding their marriage...Edna and I had breakfast coffee and toast at the...I believe it was the Sheraton on Victoria Avenue, 1982. It was very important to Edna that I was okay with the upcoming wedding and that she asked if she could be my friend as she would never be able to take the place of my mother. She had it me at "Hello"! A woman with such class, always so fashion forward... "dressed to the nines!" Edna was oh so excited when I introduced my now husband, David Kevill. Everytime we would get together, a few moments were always spent with Edna warmly welcoming David...
Through the years, I provided three of many grandchildren ...and they in turn provided four great grandchildren to the clan for Grandma Ed to enjoy!
Tyler Ash, Regina...Courtney (Ash), husband Matt Rohachuk and their children, Ash and Madeline Rohachuk...Brittany (Ash), husband Cass Pidmen and their children Tamara-Jane and Cali Pidmen.
Tyler, Court and Britt have many memories of adventures to Clear Lake, learning to play Kings Around the Korner...Grandma never tired...working on puzzles...reading stories...or meeting up in a hotel with a swimming pool in Saskatoon and having an early Christmas with outfits for the grandchildren and Gingerbread houses...lots of laughs and stories...
We have been blessed to have the honour of sharing Edna's life and although her physical presence is no longer, we know Grandma Ed is only a thought away and the memories and love will continue forever...

Reg, Jacquie, Jim and families - sending my heartfelt thoughts and prayers to you in the passing of your wife and mother Edna. Edna and I worked together in the courts for many years - she was a colleague and a great friend. I was able to visit with Edna for the past 15 plus years at our yearly get-together luncheon in Brandon. Colleen Olafson
