Obituary of Violet Jane Bell

BELL: Violet Jane Bell passed away at her residence, Fairview Home, on Sunday September 22, 2013 at the age of 98 years. Violet was born on August 11, 1915 in Rossburn, MB to Joseph and Martha Peden. She was predeceased by her husband, Andrew Gordon Bell, her parents, two brothers Carman and Robert Peden and two sisters, Zelma Alcock and Alice Hadley. She is survived by her nephews Brian and Borden Hadley of Brandon and one niece, Beverley Verkouteron of California. A Graveside service will be held at Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Avenue, Winnipeg, on Monday, September 30, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Glenn Miller officiating. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Fairview Home for the wonderful care Violet received.
