The pictures posted are from Darlene's going away party at the Keg after she had to quit working in ICU. No one worked harder to make each patients life in ICU a little easier even when hers could be so difficult. She will be missed by many! R.I.P.

Darlene was a pleasure to work with, never a dull moment with that gal! She was a awesome friend that would always be their anytime day or night. She has been of work for awhile and one night shift I was working I had a question to ask someone and I really didnt want to wake anyone up at 3am, but I knew Darlene would be up! and even though she hasnt worked for a long time she would know what to do! and of course she was up and helped me like I knew she would, she was always their, and if she was busy she made time, friends and family always came first.
I will never forget all the laughing & crying we did together, sometimes both at once!
I know Buddy and Frankie were their waiting with open paws :) Luv yah girly

I have many moments I could post and share but I would be here forever. We spent many a nights working graveyard shifts together and made a ritual out of having a "big brother" night! Ohhhh, how we didn't want Rachel to win in that season of big brother! haha! I miss those nights. She always brought in truck loads of yarn to knit stuff. Never saw that woman not knitting! Darlene got to ill and needed to quit her job. We used to sit and talk about our kids and we shared joyful moments and a lot of tears too because god knows kids can rip your heart out. She always talked about wishing she could have changed things and did things different. She loved those kids so much and I often wondered if they knew that? You did only what you knew how girlfriend and that is what matters! She wanted so much for them and just didn't know how. I seen a broken heart and yet a soft warm loving friend. I will miss you! I will miss our trips to timmies (while you were knitting), our all night visits at the house (while you were knitting) and our late night burger king runs! Guess what today is Darlene? Today is Wednesday and the last episode of big brother is on....You and Frankie are watching! Love forever, Melissa
