Shawn was one of the first people to welcome me to the MNP partnership. Over the last five years as we worked together with many of our clients, Shawn was always positive and respectful - a true gentleman. He never ever made anyone - either clients or team members - feel bad for making a mistake or not knowing something; he was always the solution provider- helped us all keep things in perspective. He was never too busy to chat and always asked how we were doing. He was a patient and active listener and a great mentor and friend. Kari, Kristen and Laura - you will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. I am so sorry for your loss. Shawn will always be remembered and missed by the Deloraine MNP office team.

I didn't have the privilege of working with Shawn daily however his trips to the Dauphin office were welcomed. I can't say enough good things about Shawn. I admired and always looked up to him. He was patient and never let you feel you didn't know enough. He had a great sense of humour and always a smile on his face. Shawn was a true gentleman and a great loss to this world. My condolences go to his family. He will be missed by all.

Chris and Ed "the legion of doom" used to terrorize their fellow class mates...until Shawn caught on. He would happily take care of those two and send them running! I haven't seen Shawn since we moved away in 87 but thought of him from time to time. I check out the year book on shilobrats.com He always had a Ozzy, Ratt or some other hair band T shirt. I had the greatest privelege of working with Shawn at MNP for 16 years. No matter how busy he was, he always had time to stop and ask how you were, and he always had a witty comment to contribute to every conversation. I knew he was a real "trooper" when I asked him to wear a sparkly silver suit to our 70's Tax Party when we were on the social committee together and he complied! Shawn leaves a huge hole in our MNP family and he will truly be missed as a leader and most of all as a true friend to everyone around him.

Kari, I have not had the pleasure of meeting you, nor have I been in touch with Shawn since high school. You are obviously a very special person to have captured his heart. It was truly a pleasure working with Shawn at MNP as he was a true leader and gentleman with everyone he came into contact with. As a co-worker and a client, I feel truly blessed to have known Shawn. I had the priviledge of going to Brandon Univeristy with Shawn, and then working with him years later at MNP. He had such a gentle soul and a kind heart. He always took time to ask you how you were and to genuinely want to hear what was going on in your life. He was so proud of his family and always smiled when he spoke about them. Shawn, you will be greatly missed, but your family will be filled with so many wonderful memories.

I bought my first official Oiler Jersey on a trip Shawn and I took to Edmonton. He bought Messier and we put them on and went for a skate in the West Ed Mall. I'll forever be an Ozzy fan because of Shawn. The world truly lost one of a kind. We'll miss your bud!

I will always remember Shawn as the only other real wrestling fan and metalhead at P.E.H.S. The day he picked me up and set me on top of the Coke machine at the school will always stand out for me as well. I'm a big guy and Shawn was scary strong! He will be missed for sure.
