Obituary of Marjorie Frieda Wells

WELLS: Marjorie Frieda (May 13, 1929 - April 14, 2013). It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Marjorie Wells on Sunday, April 14, 2013 at the Valleyview Care Centre in Brandon. Born and raised in Marchand, Marjorie married in 1947 and raised her family in Winnipeg for 10 years prior to relocating to CFB Shilo and Brandon for the last six decades. Marjorie is survived and lovingly remembered by her two brothers, Alfred and Gordon of Winnipeg, her children Ken (Joanne), Ron (Carol), Rodney, Pamela, (Mike), Shelley (Ron), David (Dianne), Daniel (Suzette), and Alan (Pamela) and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Wilfred (Jack), and her sons John and Raymond and her brother, Arnold. A Memorial Service will be held at the Brockie Donovan Chapel, 332-8th Street, Brandon, on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. with Funeral Celebrant Ms. Kim Lewarne officiating. Private interment to occur at Peace Cemetery, Devon, AB at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or The Kidney Foundation of Canada.
