As a former St. Augustine's parishioner, I was acquainted with Mrs. Nunns, and was briefly in the same class as Iris at St. A's school. Mrs. Nunns was a single parent at a time when that took a lot of courage and determination, and when society was not especially open-minded and generous. I remember her as lively spirited and humorous. God bless her, and her family.
