My deepest condolences and sympathies on your loss. Karen was a force of nature! She had such a great laugh! It was infectious. She was ill and suffered so very long. I spent many a night awake for my own health and l would think of her and pray for her wondering if she was awake, in pain, scared, lonely or all of the above. Most of my prayers for her happened during nights. I prayed for everyone else during the day. I pray you cherish her special memories. I shared a few with Mike the other evening when he and Kaela were baking the cakes you will all have after the service. Remember , blessed are they who mourn for they shall be comforted.My prayers for you all will continue. I love you all, cousin Jayne.

We were so fortunate to enjoy a wonderful visit with Karen, Mike, and our other neighbours pre covid in our garage maintaining the required distance. We told stories, laughed and got to better know each other over a few beverages. The week later Karen fell ill and went into the hospital. I will always cherish that evening and the friends we made.
