We would also like to share a few words about Simon.
We are his relatives/family from Germany, from a smal village called Pfeffenhausen, not far from the place where he grew up. Unfortunately, we weren't able to see Simon in recent years, which makes us all the more sad.
We remember him with love and his joyful spirit. It was always a highlight for us when he came to visit us in Bavaria.
It warms my heart to read all the beautiful words about Simon and to see that so many others hold such fond memories of him.
Warm regards,
The Brandstetter Family

Tomorrow we go to celebrate the life of a truly lovable & memorable man.
Growing up getting to go visit Simon & Alrene was a treat, something to look forward to. Simon had one of those contagious laughs & a smile that could brighten anyone's day, and his stories could keep even a hyper little one planted in their seat (that is when they werent trying to catch sight of the coo-coo bird).
Days of sitting at his kitchen table listening to his stories of his years as a young man, riddled with subtle life advice still to this day come fondly to mind.
Simon was a treasure in this life & through our memories of him a treasure that'll last beyond his lifetime.
We love you Simon & look forward to seeing you again beyond those pearly gates ❤️

Very sorry to hear of Mr. Brandstetter's passing. My brother and I have fond memories of growing up on Cedar Bay across from the Brandstetter home. My brother in particular enjoyed time spent 'helping' Mr. Brandstetter fillet fish when he was a little kid.
