My sincere sympathy to all of Fletch's family, what a wonderful woman she was! I came to know her through working at The Restin Recorder in the 90's. She and Russell became very special to me. Oh how she and Russell enjoyed our Christmas parties at our house and the friendship we shared through the newspaper! Our small staff felt like family and they were part of it. She DID make the best Halloween candied apples I have ever eaten. Plus so many treats she rushed over to us at the office, just out of the oven! I have some of her recipes!! You had an angel of a mother, and now she really is one! Hugs to you all, I shall always fondly remember Fletch. She and Russell will not soon be forgotten around the Reston area!
