Our deepest condolences to all the family. Your mom was an amazing person she will be missed. My memory that stand out is when it was the summer of 74, I was 16 my mom, Aunt Marj and Uncle Gordon talked about me coming to Brandon for the summer, I was a bit of a problem teenager. I worked at the local pizza place in Brandon and I stayed out too late and got into mischief. Needless to say I’m sure they were glad that they never had a daughter. Love you Aunt Marj you will be missed.

To Marjorie’s family,
Marjorie was such a special person who was so kind and so full of life with a no nonsense and no fear approach. We are so thankful to have had Marjorie connected to our family through her bond with our mother (Janice Kucheravy) and grandparents (Georgina and John Robertson). She will be dearly missed.

Marjorie Thomson (dry Thomson -- no pee in it -- was a good friend of my mother in law. They knit together and became close friends. I learned a bit about sewing hacks from Marjorie and I think of her often when I am doing different sewing things. I will miss our infrequent chats -- usually at the fabric store.

To the family and many friends of Mrs. Thompson, please accept my most sincere condolences on her passing.
C.S. Lewis suggests that a Christian woman is marked by faith, humility, compassion, authenticity, and a spirit of stewardship for her physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. She values her identity in Christ over worldly approval, demonstrates generosity in helping others, and cultivates spiritual discernment to remain true to God’s will. Her actions are rooted in a deep love for God and for others, leading to a life of meaning and purpose.
Mrs. Thompson, more than anyone I have ever known, exemplified these characteristics. I will always remember her as a high-energy, exceptionally personable, and approachable woman. She greeted me unfailingly with a warm, genuine smile—the kind of smile that made you feel seen and cared for. Beautiful inside and out, she was always willing to pour her love into the lives of others.
May God bless Mrs. Thompson and bless the entire Thompson family with comfort and peace.
With deepest sympathy,
Bruce Craig

Condolences to Majorie's sons.
In 2007 my family bought the blue house next door. She was definitely a force to recon with. One day arriving home from work there was Marjorie up a ladder cleaning out the eavestroughs. She saw a job to be done and just did it! Her gardens were always lovely and her home well tended. Loved having her for a neighbor and then she sold and was missed by all the neighbors! I did see her out dancing quite a few times over the years! Rest in peace Marjorie

I am sorry to hear of the loss of Marjorie. I grew up on sixteenth st in Brandon and used to cut her grass in the summers and shoveled the side walks in winter. I will miss our conversations. Condolences from the Ellis family.

Our deepest sympathy to all of Marjorie's family. We first met Marjorie in Brandon at Central Community Club when my husband played for dances there. We often met her at Shirley Quadrelli's home for lunch and visit when we were in Brandon. Such a very SPECIAL lady who will be dearly missed. RIP dear friend.

It was a pleasure to get to know Marjorie through her special companion and our good friend, Lloyd Robinson. Marjorie was a force of nature; we admired her courage, strength, tenacity, grace, and determination right to the very end. Our heartfelt condolences go out to each and every one of her family, whom she loved dearly and spoke of often. A smile immediately comes as we imagine all the folk in the beyond who are now receiving “a really good listening to” complements of Marjorie.
May you enjoy a peaceful rest Marjorie, it is well earned and well deserved. Xoxo Scott and Sylvia Dunbar
