Obituary of Gordon Moore

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Gord Moore, who left us too soon at the age of 60.

He leaves behind his mom and dad, Linda and Gordon, brothers Troy (Ena) and Kelly (Rachel), nephews Kian, Garin and nieces Amanda and Irelind.

Born the middle of three rambunctious boys, Gord's childhood was filled with adventure and good-natured shenanigans. After high school, Gord embraced the open road, traveling and living in various cities. He proudly earned two trades as a Machinist and Stationary Engineer, and found ample opportunity to apply his skills in the workforce.

Gord lived a life of refreshing simplicity, unburdened by worries and content with what he had. He found satisfaction in the little things and cherished his independence. More than anything, Gord was a devoted son, a steadfast brother, a fun-loving uncle, a cherished cousin and loved nephew. His quiet appreciation for those closest to him was evident.

Gord lived a life on his own terms, filled with no regrets and appreciation for the people he held dear.

He will be deeply missed.
